Food Options near Vernal, Myton before Deso launch

Just wondering where we should or shouldn't grab a bit to eat the evening before our Deso launch. Driving in from CO so anything in the area before the dirt roads start would be helpful. Cooking a meal at camp is an option but I'd rather not mess with it.

PS anyone been to the put in lately? How are the roads looking and the bugs?

Thanks as always for all your help!

I spent some time in Vernal a few years ago. About the only food worth eating is at the taco truck in front of the little Mexican market. There was a more typical American Tex-Mex joint on the outside of town that was ok too. Don't remember what it was called.

The brewhause food usually made me sick and I remember a BBQ joint that tasted like everything was thrown in a pot and boiled.

Either way, Vernal is not know for its dining opportunities, but a great place to pick up an "I heart drilling" sticker.

Just to be fair, I think the brewhaus is a fine place to have a few beers. I just had bad luck with the food.
