Duchesne River

Looking for some info on the Duchesne River in northeast utah. Is it raftable (small cat)? Lots of wood? Suggested flows? Also similar info on the strawberry?

Looking to run it in the spring.

Didn't see anything on yet.... but there is good beta found in "River Runners' Guide to Utah" -by Gary Nichols.

The upper section from Wolf Creek down to Hanna is a nice float - Catch the June runoff - upper section has good water and pretty swift currents. Kinda tight for a Cat though - Road follows the river pretty much the entire way so your shuttle is the how ever long you wanna float. We camped at Iron Mine. I didn't experience any, but the guide book mentions a couple fence crossings and a log jam - lots of irrigation tunnels, diversion dams and pumps though. We spent a half day in the water - you could go faster but we fished a bit and made a day of it.
