Thanks for the input everyone! What great trips! Some of them are a little too far from Denver for this weekend but I'll put them on my list for sure! We chose Colorado River Pumphouse > El Rancho 7/2, Rancho > 2 Bridges 7/3 but are now having second thoughts due to thunderstorms.. Now I'm considering going to up Corn Lake by Grand Junction but haven't done much research, anybody familiar with that area? As for the dog concerns my dog doesn't pee on people's stuff and he's always on leash near campgrounds, he even has a Garmin GPS tracking collar and a PFD! Safety first! He's a weird husky, doesn't pay much attention to other dogs or people really, just loves to swim and eat the fish I catch! Click image for larger version

What about SF snake? It used to be dog friendly, but I'll admit it's been a few years...
Yes, the SF Snake is still dog friendly. We have taken our new river dog there as a warm-up/training run before the MS later this summer. We lost our beloved river dog to lymphoma in January. It was my honor & privilege to run rivers with her for the past 10 years.
