So if you bought an Indian permit, any chance to get your money back?

I just got off on the 2nd. The bugs weren't bad. Mosquitos were out a bit the first couple nights. We had tiny little black flies that hovered over us and all over our food the first couple nights, those were more annoying than anything. Later in the trip there were quite a few horse flies that bit. But all was good at night.

Just got off on the 3rd, ditto what JPG said - some deer flies lower down and some annoying black gnats, but very few skeeters. We actually slept outside the screened cabin at Sand Wash because it was hotter under the roof. Overall we had a great trip with just one tiny rainstorm and only d/s wind.

We got off Monday the 6th. Down lower (after rock creek), there seemed to be a lot of Deer flies. More than in the past. I would bring light weight long pants as there were a couple places they were really bad (Wire Fence). As everyone else mentioned mosquitos were not bad at all.

We just got off yesterday the 8th and the mosquitos were really bad at the first camp but got better each camp after. Sand Wash was not bad in terms of bugs but very muddy at ramp. Rain was much more than expected, several sizable storms rolled through during our trip.
