ya gore at 1190! May have to head up on Sunday! Upper C is good too. Whats the story with camping down there? Planning on floating and camping next weekend, can you camp anywhere? Or just at radium and rancho? Planning on floating from pumphouse to state bridge just to get out. Thanks for beta.

Ran it in a 14' oar rig last year at about the same flow. Not all that bad. Tombstone was the only one I remember being tricky, but doable. In fact, we had a 16 footer on the trip with us as I recall, and he also made it though.

That being said, if you have a bunch of people, I'd paddle it at that level. It's more fun that way!

Upper C at 800 or above isn't much to it. Go early and beat the winds as everyone else has said, or bring some paddles for the passengers to help when the winds pick up!
