Back when I lived nearby ran it twice in a small cat. First trip was 2200cfs, very fun class 4. Second was a few days later and the flows had risen a few thousand cfs, being alone, the run became much more serious, I remember thinking I just wanted out of the other end of the gorge. Thankfully I had a clean run, but I'd never go back in there alone at over 3000.
If you have boating partners and are comfortable boating high flows through tight rapids, I'd say have fun and be careful. If your alone or hesitant about fast unforgiving water I'd stay away for now and see if you can get it on the tail end of its season. Higher flows will be better for your big boat and long oars.

6000+ is high for Cross. Big H20 class 5 in a raft. A swim/flip would likely take until the end of the canyon to recover from. I've never heard of anyone running it above 3500 in a raft

It has tight spots. Anything over 14' is probably too tight in there. Assuming your 16' rig probably has 10' or 11' oars - whew.

Find a buddy with a smaller oval and talk him and some paddlers into crewing it through there between 900 and 3500. You will have to wait and catch it on the way down this year.
