A great option is the Gunnison Gorge out of the Black Canyon. It's in Delta, CO. It's currently at 534 CFS in the canyon, and the lower rive is probably around 1,460 CFS. So you want to go down April 16th? At this level it's great for a two or three day and the fishing is pretty good.
If you want a little calmer water you could go down the lower river which also has great fishing and no splashing for the ladies.
I own a business called Gunnison River Pro and I provide a raft rental service through the Gorge and the lower river. Basically all you need to do is show up at the river and we'll have the boat, food, gear, and shuttle set for you. It's non-guided, so you row your own boat. All you have to bring is personal gear such as tent and sleeping bags. It's only $500 a boat a day in the Gorge, and $300 a boat a day on the lower river. We'll cover your horse pack, food, and park fees.
