Clear Creek Lawson Down, Read and Run?

Looking on some beta on the Lawson section of Clear Creek. We are thinking about running it and want to get an idea if it is a good run to read and run, I don't think you can really scout any of it. I am very comftertable on Dumont section but i have never seen the Lawson section. From what I have been told is that there are a lot of must make continuous moves with some big drops.

Any info will be help full, and thanks in advance.

There is a trail that goes from Dumont to Lawson on the south side of the river. It continues past the Animal Shelter and becomes a residential road at Lawson. It will allow scouting of "most" of that section. It is a little narrower than the Dumont section. We row it with 12' Cats and 10' oars.

At these levels, Lawson is pretty easy to read and run. My plan is "when in doubt, go right," but others seem to have just as much luck with "go left," or "just gut it." Like anything...just have a plan and you'll be fine.

Ditto what Dan said. It's read and run easy class IV. If you keep your boat upright, there are no hazards that you must avoid.
