Sorry wasn't clear enough on our plan. We are trying to do a solo boat trip launching from Green River on the sixth. Looking for another crew running shuttle around that time that we could maybe jump in with. We are flexible on date and launch location green/colorado. Sorry for the confusion.
Solo boat trip on that stretch is very well served by an airplane shuttle. Drive to hite together and fly back to green river together. Eliminates the uncertainty of arranging a shuttle with strangers, if you can even find one at all in November. Added benefit of enjoying a flight together over the heart of Canyonlands that you will then take 10 or so days to float through. You won't regret the added but in my opinion justified cost. I've had good experience with Redtail, others may chime in on them or other sources. Sounds like a great trip, good luck.
IMHO, $320 for the air shuttle is a steal. U r going to burn through a day and a half car shuttling. And an extra $100 in gas and wear and tear. It's a long haul with plenty of kamikaze deer day or night. Using the shuttle service is little cheaper.
