Hmmm Not sure I would take kids at these levels
You can absolutely get raft down the river at these levels, but there are numerous drops that could flip a raft. and other construction related hazards.
The Union chutes are BIG above 2000cfs. Level should be dropping though.
There is a major construction project 1/2 mile south of Alameda. The River is "closed" in this area, although there won't be anyone on the jobsite on Saturday and many are floating through it. There are culverts that are not visible at these high levels that will be coming into play as the levels drop
The double drop above 6th AVE, right next to the Denver Wastewater building is huge and could easily flip and/or Pin a raft.
At Confluence Park, the river is constricted by a coffer Dam and sends you right towards the bridge abutment on 15th St. Make a definite move to one side or the other.
