Always funny when the guide falls out! ( unless of course it's me)
Think I swam myself 3 times on my gorge cert run, was so frikin nervous.
Basically what blade and shaft said.
I think I became a much more efficient guide during years I was injured, forced me to stop wasting effort, read the water better, stop over compensating, and learn finesse. If I didn't boat right, the pain was there to remind me!
By the way, the shoulder injury I got from guiding back in my 20's, comes back to haunt me whenever I use that arm a lot. Do your best to take care of your body now.
Have a great summer, best years of my life were guiding rafts!
