The wood looked pretty fresh and on our first night on the river there was a big thunderstorm ang high winds which may have knocked them in the water.

Middle route worked out for almost everyone in our group but one boat entered a little too far left and flipped..

Also a top of a tree in the start of Little Niagra and i believe salalom Slide on the first day had a tree which made for a tight move.

Judging from the photos of Ladle, the big tree is not in the way of any of the standard shots. The right side entry moving slightly left into the duck pond is still open, so low water should be a go no problem there. The tree up top is in Galloping Gertie and it makes for a tight entry but not really a problem either, we were able to get by last july at the end of the month.

To the OP I would take the 13', but I would always choose a raft over a cat at low water they just float higher and slime over the rocks.

When you spend your life in the rain, you learn to walk between the drops.

Am I missing something? I see a current flow of 2400 cfs (at Lowell) that seems to be right at the low end of that range more like 1.2 already based upon the conversion graph. Have friends trying to decide if they can really make a July raft trip and their decision impacts my planning for MF/Main/Lower so I'm really interested in where the cut off lays.
