Salt River Guide Work Questions
I guide on the Arkansas and the Gauley and am looking to add some Spring guide work to my rotation so I thought I'd see about working on the Salt River next year. I'm hoping to get some recommendations on who to guide for.
It'll be my 15th year as a guide, I row and paddle, I'm a WFR, SRT, and CDL, so I'm confident that I'll be a desirable applicant. I'm looking for free camping or employee housing, good pay and tips, and full-time work. I'm willing to "break even" my first season to get my foot in the door, but need to make decent money to make this work for future years.
Any experience as a guide or client on the Salt, tips on where to live and who to work for would be amazing! Thanks y'all!
