Ruby Bug status?

Heading up there with the family this weekend. What is the status on the bugs? We have Bull Draw and Knowles 1 campsites.

We were there last weekend. Pulled into rattlesnake about 5pm. Mosquitoes were aggressive in and around the brush. Not so bad out on the rocks with a little breeze. Tried out therma cell bug repeller, seemed to help. No problems at black rocks second night, pretty windy though. Have a good trip!

I was there a couple weeks ago and mosquitoes were pretty bad at Cottonwood 1, but as previously stated, non existent at Black Rock 8.

Just got off yesterday. Cottonwood bugs were pretty bad (skeeters) and much less at Mee. Pretty much nothing at Black Rock (non-biting gnats - but who cares about them). We got precip almost every day and the ranger lifted the fire ban on the last two days we were there - so good for fires, probably bad for bugs (or good for bugs if you are a bug
