River Rafting Advice?

I'm looking for a good mix of whitewater and flatwater for a 3-5 day float trip. Something a little bit more than Ruby Horsethief canyon on the Colorado. Camping on the river a must. Any ideas?
Looking for anything in the western United States from Utah to Wyoming to New Mexico. Thanks.

Yampa Canyon? 5 days, lots of flat water, but also some fun rapids. Beautiful camps on the river and some interesting side hikes.

What time of year? What class? Remote or populated? Kid-friendly? Time for hikes or rowing thru?

If Idaho is an acceptable destination: Main Salmon, Lower Salmon, Hells canyon - all class III at most flows. Main and Hells require a lottery permit, but they are pretty easy to obtain even if you don't draw - cancellations and pre/post lottery season trips are an easy way to get on the river.

Second the Idaho suggestion. If you're not fortunate enough to draw a permit for the Middle Fork or Main Salmon, you can launch on the Main Salmon up through June 19 using the first come/first serve non lottery permit system. I did that run a couple years ago, 96 miles in 3 days and had a blast. There are also many, many miles above and below the permitted section of the Main Salmon that can be run as daily runs and/or multi-day runs. The sections above the permitted section from Stanley down to Corn Creek see very little use in spring and summer, as compared to the Ark and other local popular rivers.
