Over the winter I came across some great deals on used scaffolding. I decided to try and repurpose the scaffold into a bench and table combo for my two boats.
The parts are simple enough...two sections of scaffold, cut to the correct dimension for my frames, cleaned up and any sharp edges rounded. I added attachment points for straps to stabilize the table, and drilled out some holes to secure them to the frame.
I made the legs from some scrap SS tubing and built them in such a way that they can be attached to each other to fit on the bottom of my drop bag.
The table can be assembled with a single top, or a top and a shelf. Leg extensions allow for either countertop height, or coffee table.
Probably no really new ideas here, but some different options for those other DIY boaters out there.
