Rafting Trip Next Week

I have family coming into town next week and they want to do a rafting trip. I told them that the water this time of year is pretty low and it would be better to try some other time, but they really want to go. Is there any places that still have decent water flow for a guided tour. Royal Gorge? Clear Creek?

Clear Creek is done for the year. They could still have fun on Royal Gorge. Or if they wanted something tamer they could do an Upper Colorado trip. Or maybe the Shoshone section of the Colorado.

I guide rafts down in canon city and this is one of the best times to raft the royal gorge. It is getting fairly technical but still some good hits and alot of the inexperienced low h2o rg guides crash and burn adding to the excitement.

Come run the Poudre west of Fort Collins! Super fun water level right now, splashy and fun and great for the kids. We're running commercial trips every day so give a call!

I am with Simpleman on this one the Poudre has some of the best water for late season rafting in the state right now. It will probably be holding steady until the crowds stop coming.

Thanks for the info everyone. I think I'll try out Royal Gorge because they a fun ride and want to hit up the Sand Dunes for a day or so as well, even though the Poudre looks very enticing to me. I may just have to make a separate trip after they leave!
