Rafting Alto Alto?

Have people rafted this section much at current flows? I've kayaked it twice, once med(600'ish) and once high(1200'ish). Is rafting good to go? I'll be running safety for some rafters possibly on monday. Punch the holes, highside the rocks, etc. but bridges, metal? I know it's cold and fast, it will be creekin' in a raft; too much to handle?

I have rafted it 4 times now from 400 cfs to 800 cfs and it is fine.

I run a stinger which is like a shredder so it is smaller, I am not sure if I would want a 14'er up there but you should be fine in a 12'er.

Have fun and take out before that nasty bridge coming into pinecliff.

It's way fun. High speed rafting. Used a puma once and a 10' a couple days ago. Watch out for the wall on the left side of the island if it's high. Catch an eddy on the left above the railroad tunnel to scout the hardest part.

You are heading there on Monday??? We might be interested in heading over there if you are okay with another raft (shredder) adding to your group. I have not seen the section but am stoked to get on it.

Give me a call if you are interested
