This certainly makes it easy to recommend AVA if this is an example of what lengths they will go to take care of their clients. He is certified in swiftwater rescue, he did his job. I certianly hope these charges are dropped asap. It takes all kinds - thank god that 13 yr old is home safe now... thank god there are people in this world like Ryan.
"It's about the safety of a 13-year-old girl. You are going to do everything in your power to insure the safety of your guest, and if that means in Idaho Springs you get arrested, well I guess we'll just get arrested." Said Branford. Good work Brother Raft Guide. I am proud of you.
Thanks for all of the support--we have gotten a ton of emails and calls. We are asking that people please contact Sheriff Don Krueger and encourage (pressure) him to drop all charges against AVA guides.
Way to stand-up for your employees! I'm very impressed with that. I will explore further details and contact the SO when I feel I have a full understanding of the story.
Sincerely,
bear
