Pump house to two bridges or state bridge inaugural run, Eagle River, others?

Just got 14'NRS frame primed for the inaugural run. Haven't paddled oar frame setup before. Plenty of experience on guided waters, class 2+ canoeing, and flat water...looking for a good section(s) to 'get my feet wet' this season to plan some overnites when the time is right and not before...live in vail,co...any suggestions welcome! Happy 4th! Thanks in advance!🍻

There are several good clubs you can join, High Country River runners, hcrr.org and front range inflatables at meet up.com
Both clubs do a lot of group runs and give great advice

Rancho to state bridge is the place to learn. Once you are comfortable there you can try Pumphouse to Radium or Radium to Rancho.

Two bridges to Catamounts has essentially zero technical water- start there, then rancho to state bridge. Then pump.

Ditto what these guys said. However, if you can bring someone who's done Pumphouse to State Bridge with you, just do that first. Super easy minus two simple moves, but you don't want to mess them up. Make sure your stuff is tied town well.
