Predicted Chama Flows

I have a permit for a July 30th put on (Sunday) and would like to raft and take out Tuesday. It seems like some years they keep flows high through the week in July and other years they don't. When I call the office they give me the run around and point me to one guy who is supposed to know the predicted flows, but he never returns calls. Does anyone know how to find better information on flows for the Chama? Thanks!

Chama info

I had a permit for this coming Sunday. For whatever it's worth, when I talked to the Chama river ranger last Friday, he said the flows would now quickly ramp down after Sunday and would be low again by Monday.

If anyone can do it at lower flows, I cancelled my permit.

I don't even see flow predictions on the NWS advanced prediction site. They're just posting the USGS data, which is showing steady 600cfs for now. Makes mid week sort of a wild card.

After making some noise, I did get a call back from the water manager. He said that higher flows during the week would continue as long as the weather in Albuquerque was dry. He said there was plenty of water in El Vado. He did confirm that there was no way to know for sure and that putting in with a raft on a Sunday was rolling the dice.
