The MFS would be fine in a hardshell at any flow. But it would just be more enjoyable in an IK. The rapids are really easy in a hardshell at low flow and you are in the boat for hours and limit your load capacity a lot more. But it can be done and would be fun.

How was the chukar hunting? A friend who is an insane chukar hunter was salivating when we floated the MF last summer.

By the waterside I will lay my head.
Listen to the river sing sweet songs to rock my soul.

I don't want to spoil any surprises about chukars but having hunted them for years and only taken 9 total it was interesting for 3 of us to take that in a day, without ever taking off a PFD. just step off the boat and blast away. Have the other act as spotter....walk 20 yards to gather them, repeat.

They are obviously not hunted heavily. We could have limited out 4 or 5 days but we took just enough to eat each night and our waste capacity was limited.
