Main Salmon shuttle question

We are doing a Main Salmon trip next month. We are coming from Washington and my son is coming from Bozeman, MT.

One of our trailers is a 16' car hauler. My son is not bringing a trailer. We would like to put his car on the car hauler and have it shuttled on the trailer.

Has anyone done this, and if so, what shuttle service did you use?

2nd Blackadar. Just did a main with a very large truck/camper/trailer rig with great shuttle drivers. Let them know ahead of time your plans. Triple check your securing straps (talk to a tow company on industry standards if haven't practiced this before.) Don't expect someone else to check them on a long shuttle without instructions. A snack pack tip and larger than normal tip (we do $40/rig, I would guess $80 for the added savings you are getting) for the driver isn't required but gets your rig the cadillac treatment.

Let me know how it goes. Have thoughts of upgrading the trailer for this situation in the future.

Friendly reminder: check the details with your insurance company pre-shuttle. Shuttling can be a very confusing/complicated situation for them to comprehend and it is better for you to have it sorted out ahead of time.

We also use Blackadar. I just got an email from them. They no longer shuttle loaded car haulers. They had a stinger come out on the last one they did.

Check with Michele at All Rivers Shuttle. There is a note on her form that they must be approved but it might be that she has stopped shuttling them for insurance reasons.
