Gore fest

Just curious for those of you that have participated in the Gore race, do all boaters that are racing start at the same time, or do they do a staggered start and then just have judges the monitor timeclocks??? I'm considering entering the race w/ my 14' cat but starting everyone at the same time seems like a shit show..any insight would b appreciated!

Cheers,

Shane

I'm not sure about the specs on the race but know you can contact them through Gore Fest on FB. I'm interested in running my Cat as well in the race. I was told to be comfy with the run before entering. I'm pretty sure Gore Rapid is part of the race... I haven't been down yet but I'm ready. I'm down to go out there anytime. I live pretty close to the put in and have a 12' WD and 12'9 jpw.

It's a staggered start, and yes, gore rapid is part of the race. Definitely take a couple laps firsts, turns out read and run into Gore Rapid is a little harrowing. Other than that its a great cat run.

I haven't got out yet since moving to Denver. I doubt I'd bother racing, but I'd love to row gore some time with y'all.
