Flip Flop Meltdown - What u got?

I am tired of slimey flip flops! - What brand can get wet for months and still provide grip for your foot without a heel strap. Looking to avoid blow outs and poor fashion (of course) as well. Anyone out there got one they like that can handle the action for the beach and mild whitewater. Pictures would help if you got them. Tired of almost falling on my ass.......Thanks for your counsel on this important matter......Oregon595

I had a pair of Columbia that my puppy ended up eating the toe hold. They were about 5 years and still worked great. Haven't seen this type since then.

old style chacos with the heel strap and vibram soles

mine refuse to wear out but if they do I will go to the shoe repair shop (yep, Tulsa has a couple left) and resole with new vibram

Do a google and see if they still make them with vibram soles,

Reef slippers. Wore a pair a year working boats on Maui and no worries. Just don't get ones with plastic connectors on the soles. They break.

Another vote for the Chaco hipthong, as a flip flop lover but hater of poorly made footwear they fit the bill.

The arch support of the Chaco flips make them the best choice.
