Does anyone know the story behind the raft wrapped and left at Snowhole ?

We just finished up a Corn Creek to Heller Bar trip and wondered about the boat.

This is the extent to my knowledge of the boat, it's been there a while. I believe someone said it's a rental from Eastern Oregon perhaps one of Grant's at Minam?

Never seen this rapid, but it looks like someone said 'where would be the worst place to be......now lets do it sideways'.

Damn that is a stick.

It's not a hard rapid, but there is a right and wrong way, this being the later. The entrance is on the right and people scout on the left. My guess is he scouted left and didn't exit the eddy high enough to give himself time to get his line. The comments I read somewhere said he had younger kids that were forced to swim with out much or any assistance. That's all via Facebook I don't know anyone directly involved.
