August Family Float Suggestions

We live in Fort Collins, CO (wife and 2 young kids (4 & 6). First year rafting, but already have a Ruby-Horsetheif trip under our belt. We are looking to fill a 4-5 day slot in mid August. Any suggestions for anything that is not really above Class II (one of our kids can't swim yet... so looking for easy stuff).

If you can get flows around 1,000CFS in the lower San Juan, I'd highly recommend it. The permits are fairly easy to get after the runoff. You could do the Sand Island to Mexican Hat as a three day or the Mexican Hat to Clay Hills as a 4 or 5 day. Both stretches have their virtues.

The police never find it as funny as you do

Upper Colorado River from pump house and any takeout between there and Dotsero, many great family float segments. Primaries River camping mostly with some exceptions. Many swim able segments then, though not so now at high water.

The Green below Flaming Gorge. Dam released, pretty easy rapids, great campsites. Cold water though.
