Anybody know the deal with Rio Chama this Weekend?

Wilderness section flows?

That's a good question. Normally they discontinue the recreational releases after Labor Day weekend, but it looks like they have been continuing to release for all except the first weekend in September.... reservoir level's are low NWCC - Reservoir Storage Graph, so I would be surprised if they continued to send water down without more rain, but anyone's guess is as good as mine.

If you are considering floating it this weekend I would suggest giving the Taos Ranger District a call and asking, if they don't know I would check with Delafield Dubois, the river ranger for that stretch. He is very friendly and helpful.
