Any British Columbians on here?

I don't really see any BC'ers on here (Canada). Just wondering if there are any BCer's who cat or raft BC rivers or if any of you from south of the border venture north and have rafted or cat'd BC rivers.

Hi, I am one of the B.C. rafters and live near Radium B.C.
We do most of our longer trips mainly in Idaho but we raft the Kootenay, White,Kickinghorse,Thompson and have done the Tat in B.C.

Wow - I think we are an endangered species/race on this board eh Michael?

OK - let me rephrase this - is there anyone here from south of the border (read: USA - United STates of America, which according to Borat is the greatest country) has pondered coming north of the border to run some of the fabled White water in BC? I can't speak from experience but I KNOW we have a crapload of small, medium, large, and HUGE rivers that are waiting to kick your ass if you're so inclined. And we seem to lack a lot of dams, that you all have, along with generally having less flow issues throughout the Summer on most of our rivers.

Yeah! I have friends who have done a lot of boating in BC but they've pulled back a bit in the last few years. I would love to get up there, esp since I think your runoff goes much later w a lot if summer runs.
I am a river, babe - I've got plenty of time, I don't know where I'm going, I'm just following the lines..... - "We are water" by Shaye
