Thanks for reminding us all of the risk in going on a wilderness float with only one boat!


I learned that lesson the hard way in Alaska after getting wrecked by a sweeper in a braided channel. And we were the only trip on that section of river ...

Great story, makes you aware that you need to be prepared for anying out on the river. My only question is why did they have bunny suits?

Everyone I've ever met from Aspen....... carries a bunny suit with them.

Wow. Good work staying positive and working together. People often think of Deso being an easy flat water trip but in the 3 trips I've had down there, there has always been something rather challenging we have had to deal with i.e...bears, bugs, hail, wind, pinned boats, rock slides....
Don't let your guard down cause it's the little shit that's gonna get you!
