Filter Plant Question

Can anyone tell me how to get to the picnic rock take out location. The map on AW appears to have the takeout below the damn???

it's marked well. it's a little over a mile above the mouth of the canyon. definitely above the 2 dams.

All I need are some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

Head up the canyon and you won't miss. The first parking lot on the left is your destination. You will see a bunch of cars and swimmers/picnicers in the eddy below. There is a diversion dam just below the parking lot turn.
