GCPBA Online Store

Hello Boaters - Here is a reminder of what Grand Canyon Private Boaters Association has in its online store. Get something for yourself or for your permit holder. A book will make a great gift. We can ship items to someone direct if you want, enclosing a note that it's from you.

The Hidden Canyon, A River Journey is back after being out of print for years! This is a beautiful book. Renowned photographer and river guide John Blaustein and environmental hero and bestselling author Edward Abbey document their epic journey through the Grand Canyon. You will want this book just for the 147 stunning color photographs. It is $29.95, discounted to $22.50 for GCPBA members. See it here:

We have in stock The Emerald Mile, a wonderful new book about the 1983 speed run through Grand Canyon, with chapters containing background information about the high water flow, Major Powell, the dams (both existing and proposed), and more. Anybody who enjoys reading about the Grand Canyon's river running history has to read this book. It's only $18.75 for GCPBA members. You won't regret buying it! Have a look at it here:

GCPBA has added another book to its impressive lineup in the online store:

River To Rim: A guide to place names along the Colorado River in Grand Canyon from Lake Powell to Lake Mead

River to Rim tells the stories of rapids, temples, and points in the Grand Canyon: who named what and when, quotations from explorers, names given by tourists and river runners, and the events that gave rise to the place names.

Take a look at it here: River to Rim

Never wonder again how and why something is named what it is as you float past it.

Order one today! Just $24.95, but discounted to $22.45 for GCPBA members.
