Whitewater Matters - Volume 1 Issue 1

The first edition of Whitewater Matters
the Mountain Buzz Newsletter is attached!

Whitewater Matters is the official newsletter of Mountain Buzz. We envision this newsletter to be a product of the whitewater community. We all have a passion for rivers and boating and this is a place where that passion can be shared. If you have a suggestion, a story, gear review or anything you feel your fellow Buzzards could benefit from, please share it with us!

Be sure to check out our Member Profile on page 3. Josh Osborne, aka BastardSonOfElvis shares some personal information from Bagdad. Also, check out the Events Calendar on pages 6 & 7. There are lots of great events this month to kick off the boating season!

Whitewater Matters is published monthly during the boating season and semi-monthly in the off season. We welcome and encourage submissions on all whitewater related issues. Please send submissions to Scott Winkleman at scott@coloradowhitewater.org.

Special thanks to the following for helping take this idea and making it reality.

Hey...

We just hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new whitewater park in Avon, Colorado. I have some great pictures too! We are also hosting a new whitewater rodeo series on May 29 and June 5 (maybe longer). What are the chances of getting a story?

Danita,
Chances are excellent. Try to keep it around 500 words and email to me at scott at coloradowhitewater dot org. Send pics, too. Also, if you haven't already, post your rodeo series on the Mountain Buzz calendar.
Scott
