Sunday early morning I decided to work on the issue of the photos being broken on the portal page. Various other people are reporting the same issue and following the outline of what worked for another forum owner I was uninstalling the software that runs that photo feed. When doing that I accidentally uninstalled the whole photo gallery script and screwed things up royally. I then went to restore the DB and had issues with the restoration so then the forum was screwed up too. It was not fun but all the data is back and the software has been upgraded and the freaking photo feed is still not working. I hope you all did not jones too bad missing the Buzz, we are back online but I still have to get the photos working. I am going to take a break for a couple days and then come back to see if I can get the feed working. In the mean time you can visit the gallery by clicking on the link at the top of the page that says photos.
Sorry for the down time and thanks for your patience. I could sense a few of you wanting to throw beer bottles at the stage, it's a good thing we installed the chicken wire. Hang tight, I'll get the photos back on the home page soon (I hope). |
