Over time the Buzz has grown into the leading portal for sharing information for Rocky Mountain whitewater paddlers. As a volunteer based operation we are going to need help in certain areas so that we can continue to evolve our community.
Our Community Needs You!
Most of the roles require just a couple of hours of work each month. This post will be locked and function as our Help Wanted listing for volunteer roles that we need filled.
Current Areas That We Need Help:
Monthly Newsletter Team - We want to send out a monthly newsletter that will feature what's going on at the Buzz. We need to determine exactly what the content of the newsletter is going to contain but here are some ideas: trip reports, safety alerts, member spotlight, important news updates (including updates on important issues like water rights and times when we need the paddling community to come together to make our voice heard), upcoming events, gear reviews, etc.
If you like to write and love to paddle, please consider joining our Newsletter Team. It will be really cool knowing that your work is being read by so many paddlers!
Upcoming Events / Calender Manager - We want to create a comprehensive place for paddlers to come and see what events are being held nearby. We need a couple of members who actively read all the sources of paddling info on the Internet to help post events to our calendar. This will create a great resource for your fellow paddlers to see all these events listed in one place.
If you have some extra time to help manage our events calendar please send me a PM. All the other Buzz members will throw you mad props for bringing all this info together for them!Thanks for considering helping the Buzz!!!
