Announcing the Buzz Crew

Dear Members,

I wanted to thank you for all the PMs and emails about managing the Buzz. In order to keep an eye on the site and help discuss how to handle some of the situations a team has been created (Buzz Crew) that will move questionable threads such as SPAM, porn, etc. In the event threads get out of hand our team will discuss the best way to handle the situation.

So far we have the following on the team:

I don't see this as a big deal. A little oversight is needed and frenchy was doing it on his own for a long while. The guys you have on the Buzz Crew are a good balanced group who will do a fine job. They know the buzz well.

It's a good idea of you to set this group up. I just hope those guys don't hold back on their comments, now that they are in charge.

el flaco sounds like a great nomination. This post is probably being blown up 36 by 24 and hung over his bed with pride as we speak. That guy will have buzz manager business cards within a week. He'll be running background checks on buzz members to see if they've posted anything scandalous in the past that may need to be addressed. When I think of flaco I think of Milton from Office Space, a damn hard worker who's just underappreciated. It's about time he got the respect he deserves

nope, no texans. we'll let the world at large serve as a model for what happens when you let a texan run the show.

as for myself, I'm way too anti-establishment to have anything to do with an oppressive force like the "buzz team". In fact, I'm glad that a face has been given to "the man". Now I have something concrete to rebel against!
