WTF? Kayaking / Gear Talk

How about segregating two incompatible topics?

I get it. Work in progress. The kayaker main thread still needs to be created (like Whitewater Rafting)

Is there a way to flag the topics to the moderators so they know to move it to the right category?

Kayakers have gear discussions.

I thought all they did was talk about their swims and how nasty their boot that they had to drink out of was.

The internal volume of the bootie divided by the material coefficient of the bootie insert determines the flavor quality.

Yup - work in progress. You can report a thread that needs to be moved, but might consider waiting a few days until we get the rest of the forums sorted out.

So the gear talk and trip planning pages for rafters have been moved to sub categories? Maybe it's just me on a monday morning, but I found them a bit harder to find. Can the mods put up a direct link?
On the other hand, now that the rafting pages are buried, maybe we can talk frankly about how to hide our beer from the kayakers....

If kayakers quit drinking your beer you will not have to bring so much beer...

Which would seem like a bonus until you realize that you then have all that extra space in your Yeti cooler. Which we all know is not good and will lead to a quicker melt.

.....so pass me a beer. Please.

The rafters gear talk and trip planner are actually completely new sections but we can add some links over on the left side of the page in the next day or so.. Thanks for the suggestions.
