Flow is right this belongs in support and feedback but seriously our concept is to put things in their proper place so that people searching at a later date can find what they are looking for. If it appears heavy handed, we will have a conversation about it and see what we can do.

Pretty lame...
Whats it matter that there is a river recipe request in the boaters section?

The admins need to be called out!

Edit:They've come out. But seriously? It was a recipe request! That has everything to do boating!

I think you're probably better off letting it ride unless it's non-boating related.

Most people would rather dig a few pages deep on the main forum then get lost in those auxillary boards.

It takes a really big and active community to use a lot of auxillary boards, they might be useful for a few weeks during the spring and summer, but not in Feb.

My $.02

We need a balance between the Kim Jong Il type admins and the laid back, tell it like it is admins. That is why I am officially launching my campaign to become a Mountain Buzz Administrator. Give me the power and I promise to only slightly abuse it. Who's with me? Chime in your support below and we'll get this board back on track!

Yes we can!

Not sure about "they" but yes I am out and I am a moderator for what thats worth. I am not sure I see the problem. If you use the home/portal then the thai curry thread will show up as other threads. Its more from a history or searching prospective that we move threads. Despite popular belief we dont do it for fun. We actually do have other things to do. We will discuss and see if we need to make changes but just so you know, this will be moved to feedback soon.
