I like the drop down tabs at the top and the changing banner. The contrast is a bit harsh, but overall not bad.

Always thought the old style looked like a Myspace or Geocities page.

i agree, the blue was easier on the eyes for sure.

but i really liked being able to see where people are from. certainly can be relevant sometimes, right???

Another vote for the white being bad. I thought it was a little harsh this morning and at night in a dark room it is worse.

Its too bad I missed the contest for the new logo and banner pics.

Agree with above comments but will prob not notice or even remember after a few days. Esp if there are new features and faster function.

But thanks much for keeping the "view w/o forums" link. It's the way I keep up every day.

Being in the IT industry, I get it. Change is needed, and many are initially against the change. I personally liked the old grey, but don't have an issue with the new colors. The font is a smidge small, and could definitely see where anyone with vision issues could have problems viewing the new theme. My suggestion to anyone having issues is to zoom in. CTRL - mouse scroll up for most browsers.

Out of curiosity, I clicked Buckman's link for the dark reader in google chrome. It didn't work. If you're too lazy to google it yourself, I'm pasting the link that worked for me. I do see this as a good alternative as well.
