Subscription emails for ads?

I just started getting emails notifying me of stuff posted on the swap. They say that I am subscribed to a category, but when I log in and look in the swap I don't have any subscriptions, and when I follow the unsubscibe link at the bottom of the email it says the "script call malformed".
So, two questions:
1) WTF?
2) What do I need to do in order to quit getting these emails?

I would like to unsubscribe as well but I also get the error message. I am getting ads as well. Help, let me out of here!

The software that runs the swap section seems to have a code error and there are two issues. Basically, when you load an ad you get e-mail notifications of a new ad being loaded that were intended for those subscribed to the category. This could be quite a few e-mails. The second is that some folks seem to have subscriptions that they can't get rid off and receive an error message when trying to unsubscribe. We have been working with the developer to get this resolved.

Can you turn off the e-mail stuff altogether until you get it resolved? Until we can unsubscribe? I've been getting e-mails for weeks in categories where I haven't seen an e-mail from for over a year. So, you did something that enabled the e-mails to start going out. Undo it until you get it fixed please. It's driving me nuts.

It's not a new feature - it's a snafu in the program. We believe it has been fixed as of late today. Please report back here is the issue continues or you are unable to unsubscirbe.
