PM capabilities

With my settings I can't edit a PM after I send it. Also, the only "reply" function I see requires me to reply with quotes. I'd like to reply without quotes (and save the server some bandwidth while I'm at it).

How can I do these?

Thanks,

-AH

I do the reply with quotes but just highlight and delete the quote part before I start typing. Cant answer the edit part.

Not sure how I stumbled on to this, but I don't know how to edit.

With the reply, I always tend to use the "Quick Reply' box down below the thread, which has a check box asking if you want to quote message.

I believe the PM function is more like e-mail than posting to thread, thus the inability to edit after sending.
