Mountainbuzz quality continues to decline!

The quality of Mountainbuzz has been on a steady decline for some time. It keeps getting more complicated and more useless forums with more cencership. I have not commented until they took the photos for the home page!! In my opinion this was the coolest feature of the buzz. Get your shit together and get our photos back up!

Thats what happens when something for fun turns into something for profit.

Yeah, it's been kind of sad to see this site go slide so far down from where it was in the glory days a just a few years ago... great debates, lots of posts, funny, stupid shit going on all the time to where it's at now.

The Eddy has to be the most pathetic place of all. Topics that are months old with next to no replies still sitting front and center on page 1. The off topic stuff used to as classic as the boating topics.

The buzz has lost it's mojo.

I do remember reading somewhere that they were having technical problems with the pics on the front page and working on fixing it. Hopefully this is correct.

it is amazing I even saw this post so soon because I have essentially stopped checking the buzz except for maybe once a week or so and stopped posting altogether.

I don't know if it was the change in ownership or what. I will say that the forum has potential to be better than the old forum. Why doesn't anyone post trip reports or photos right into a thread like this? One of the coolest functions of this board is that you can read a report with photos embeded like a magazine. Maybe people have been posting trip reports and I have missed them.

I am not ready to blame anyone it just seems like there has not been any energy on this site for a while. I will say that the site I post on the most often tgr.com has very little in the way of moderation which makes it way more fun...even if people get their feelings hurt every once in a while.

well it is the off-season apart from a few people traveling to SA or PACNW there isn't much happening around here unless you like sliding on snow.

What good has the pictures being taken off done??
If life is like a box of chocolates then When I opened the home page it was like eating a shit filled truffle
Isn't this a site by boaters for boaters or has this time come and gone??
The last thing I want is to start hanging out at Keck's Blog site.

The Buzz is working on getting the pics back up. Right now there are some programming code issues that are preventing it from happening. From what I know, the loss of the pics was accidental and folks are working to fix it.
