I still hate sticky threads

Yes this is a re-post. Someone saw fit to delete the topic the first time I posted it (a few minutes ago). I think it's worthy of discussion. If this thread is deleted too I'll be back to post it again...... and again... and again.

Do we really need 9 stickys at the top of the page? If the content of the stickys was that important or interesting don't you think the users of this forum would be constantly bumping them achieving the same effect?

I say three days should be the max for a sticky. After that it should be left to live or die on it's own.

What say you?

PS: This time I typed the post in Word and saved it so next time I can just cut and paste. It'll make re-posting the thread over and over until the mods let it stay easy as pie.

I get all I need but thanks for the advice.

Nine stickys with a grand total of 43 replies.
Seems like not too many people are that interested.
Let 'em fall or stand on their own.

Curious that the next nine threads below the stickys (not including this one) contain nearly double the amount of replies as the nine stickys. How about the moderators let the shit that people are interested in be at the top of the page instead of buried a third of the way down it.

Dude, chill. It looks like your post got moved to the Support & Feedback forum, which is where it belongs. Maybe you didn't have time to check as you were busy counting up all the posts in the Boater's Forum.

Mods, can you make this a sticky?

I wasn't even aware that there was a support and feedback forum.

Besides the problem is here. It's the Boaters forum that's plugged with stickys not the Support & Feedback forum.

But it is mainly feedback. Suck it up and just ignore the stickies if You don't like em.
