I don't know anything about the posts you tried to make but doubt seriously that anything about the content would have caused them to be deleted.
I'm not that tech savvy about the BBS software Andy R's using for the Buzz but I'd expect that there may have been some flakiness in the post submittal mechanism, possibly related to a time out error due to how long you had the text entry window open if it was a long post.
When you want to make a long post, compose it in a word processor, or better yet, text pad (which should eliminate wierd formatting characters that fancy word processors have), first, then open the "new message" dialog box and cut and past your message into it. That way, even if it does get rejected, you haven't lost the message and can try again to post it later.
