Buzz Posting Question

Is there any way to change the setting so when you click on a post it doesn't automatically take you to the last post, but rather to the top of the page and to the first post? This whole going to the last page and last post is annoying me, I know it takes you to the most recent post, but who keeps up enough to not have to backtrack. I want to start at the beginning. I know this is not a boating question but its annoying so I needed to post.

Well that's kinda a stupid response...
That was my whole point, I don't have the time or the want to be on here 24/7.

I find that if I click on the title of the thread instead of the "V" symbol, I go to the top of the thread.

So it's just from the home/portal that it takes me to the last posting, from any of the individual forum pages when I click on the title it goes to the first post. Why would it be different? What's so special about the home/portal. Well I guess it doesn't matter, I only really go to the boaters forum anyway and from there it seems to go to the 1st post.

Dude, did you play with the "Thread Display Options" under "Edit Options" in the User Control Panel? Seems to me you might have it clicked with newest first.

Just checked and it is set to oldest first. Whatever, this thread probably doesn't need this much attention, thanks for all the advice though everyone.
