Climbing Partners in Steamboat
Now that there is no more water in Routt County, it's climbing season.
I've lived in Steamboat for 2 years now, and only have about 3 people to climb with that are dialed, and of those, our schedules never seem to align. So, today is a beautiful day, I have all of it off, and can't get out till 5 when my partner gets out of work. Maybe someone will see this post and have an open schedule and want to clip some bolts up at Couger or plug some gear anywhere, and I will have 1 more person to add to my list. Any takers can call me at 970-819-6949. I go to Rifle Friday, Sat, Sun every week, but need partners for midweek and car poolers to rifle or other areas. I'd like to check out Maple this summer and the new stuff going up down around Carbondale, and Indy Pass is always nice.
Please only respond if you've climbed a bit and know how to lead belay well and can climb 5.10 sport or harder.
