Butler Gulch to Loveland Pass?

Has anyone ever done this hike?
I've spent quite a bit of time hiking and riding in the Butler Gulch/Jones Pass area, but havent ventured towards Hermans Gulch from there.
Another starting point might be the upper Urad mine area.

I went from Butler to Herman's last summer. That was an easy, fairly short, yet very enjoyable traverse. I've heard of plenty of people traversing from Pettingell to Loveland Pass...so, I'm sure it's a good route. As you know, be aware of lightning when on a high traverse like that.
