Excellent Article Revolt. I guess that is why I like the Tea-Party for all its shortcomings. At least it is not yo-yoing between the same choices every two to four years. Yes they are being co-opted, but at it's heart it is what we need to shake the system up. I have faith that if (or more precisely.. when) the Republicans that are co-opting the tea-party (Palin) don't live up to expectations, more heads will roll and the right politicians will eventually get elected.
I would love to see the liberal side invent it's own kind of tea-party. Or do they still think that Obama's change is something they can believe in? I ask that seriously. It seems the wind went out of their sails in the last two years. I would think that if it truly is change they can believe in they would see it through to the end. If they can't believe in it any more, why aren't they forming a tea party type movement? You can't just complain when the conservative side gets organized. The liberal side needs to get their shit together too.

Outlaw: It doesn't matter if China goes on the gold standard. We are the ones that are buying and not selling. If we were on the gold standard (regardless of whether china was or wasn't) they couldn't sell to us anymore until they started buying from us as well. We also wouldn't have built up their manufacturing base while destroying ours in the process.
