Red Cliff Inn I think? Great place with a winery and good restaurant.

X2 on the red cliff lodge that place is awesome it's right on the river, awesome wine, it has great views to the west and the guy who owns it is a really generous guy

If you'd rather be in town, I liked the Gonzo Inn. Can't remember what it cost but I don't think it was too much.

Gonzo Inn is also sweet. Johnny Depp has stayed there. That makes it good, right?

Lazy Lizard

Not a motel, but the Lazy Lizard Hostel in Moab is a pretty good deal. Used to be $9 a night. You can stay in a group room or get an individual room.

I prefer the Apache Inn off the main strip. John Wayne stayed there.

Apache! Reasonable, walk everywhere. Ask for the John Wayne room.
