What Bush Admin REALLY thinks of our military

http://www.wcsh6.com/news/article.aspx?storyid=71741

Short version:
Minnesota National Guard troops kept deployed for 729 days. Why 729?

Because if it was 730, they'd all qualify for GI Bill Education benefits. They're all being denied the benefits.

I'm disgusted.

This is the sort of thing that Americans need to hear about. So many ride around with Support our Troops bumper stickers and feel that they're good patriots doing their part when the reality is that they don't do anything to support the troops such as demanding our withdrawal from Iraq or starting petitions to increase awareness of travesties such as the one you mentioned above, helio. There is pretty clear evidence that the government distributed LSD to the people in the 1960's to keep them from organizing efficiently. I'm not a conspiracy theorist, nor do I know if that is true, but I do know that the acid they're distributing to us now is the news media with a large dose of fear. Here's a website that will help you start a petition and host it for free- if you're interested. www.petitiononline.com/create_petition.html

Perhaps it could ask for at least a review of the GI Bill that should allow all soldiers access, regardless of time on duty.
